Sasa.com broke my heart...

Dear friends,

Sasa.com seemed like a great website! They offer all the Asian cosmetic and skincare products that I ever thought of trying! Brilliant website layout and plenty positive reviews on the products and delivery system. They also give you a free tracking number - cool, isn't it?

No, Sasa broke my heart. Why? The shipping fees were more than the actual products and the website didn't even allow me to select the Standard Shipping option! Despite the shipping fees, I swallowed hard and proceeded anyway - it was the only place I am going to find the Sasatinnie Facial Cleansing brushes that promised such great results.

Upon arrival, however, I had to pay another R200 ($22) for import taxes. Hey, do you know how awesome eBay sellers are? They ship it for free + they ship it as a gift! In other words, the buyer doesn't have to pay taxes! How smart is that? I guess Sasa is lacking some common sense in that department...

All in all, I'm very disappointed and won't order from sasa.com ever again! 

So, yeah, that was my day. I'm done ranting now. Whew~

{ review } Noutrifusion Multivitamin Clarifying mask

Hi, guise!

I've neglected this review for way too long. Finally, here's the review for my Clarifying mask from Herbalife’s Nourifusion Skincare range.

Herbalife is an independent organisation that focuses on wellness through natural products, carefully combined with science. Annnnd, that’s all I’m going to say about the “boring” stuffs xD

Active Ingredients: Vitamins A,C,E, Orange & Eucalyptus Oil, Azeloglicina, Linked Papain, Glycerin & Witch Hazel.

I’ll be honest; at first I was a bit skeptical about this product. It’s green and has a medicinal smell, but the fragrance vanished after a while so it’s not bothersome.

On first application, the mask tingled a bit, but sat there snugly and slightly warm and comfortable – like a hug. I could feel it hydrating my skin and only hoped that it would clear up my blemishes as well.

I have read several reviews on it. Some say it didn’t work for them at all, and others (the majority) said that it worked like a miracle for them. It all depends on your skin, I suppose.

Anyway, I left it on for quite a while, because I tend to forget to wash it off and get busy with other things. When I checked it in the mirror, it seemed as if the mask was absorbed and only a thin layer of creamy dry clay (not dusty at all) was left from the generous amount I’ve applied to my face.

My face is slightly red, because I exfoliated it prior to applying the mask.

When I washed it off, my face was soft and felt nourished. My blemishes did appear dried out. I love this mask and would recommend it to people with acne-prone, oily and combination skin. It's a good weekend mask.

What I like about this mask:
> It did help drying out my blemishes.
> It's not dusty like regular clay masks.
> It nourished my skin with the ACE (vitamin A, C and E) therapy ^^

What I dislike:
> It's a bit drying, so only use it once a week.
> It's a bit scarce since you can only buy it from distributors (luckily, my mom is one!)

Please remember the results will depend on your individual skin, but do give this little one a try and tell me what you think!

{ review } Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack

Hi, my lovelies!

I'm reblogging a post that I made back when I was going to participate in a beauty blog collaboration with a friend I don't see at all anymore. : /
So here it is! This is my take on the Baviphat Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack. In all honesty, I miss this product so much! I still have the packaging (because it's too cute to throw away) and I keep my DIY concoctions in there. tehehee

I wish I still had more, because my skin really needs the extra hydration and this soothing gel-like sleeping pack was amazing!

Finally, I’m going to review my first eBay haul! *cheers*

The first product I’m going to review is the Baviphat Apple AC Therapy sleeping pack. I bought it from Makozzang on eBay and the seller was kind enough to include some samples too.

What I like about this product~

❥ The packaging is unforgivably adorable!

❥ It has a potent sweet apple smell, but it fades after you apply it.

❥ It has a jelly, watery texture and is very light (and fun to apply)!

❥ It dries real quick ad isn’t sticky so it doesn’t pick up dirt or stick to your hair and your pillow while you sleep.

❥ My eyes don't get irritated when I apply the product close to them.
❥ Because of the little spoon, using the product is hygienic.

❥ It really does improve discoloration and gently removes dead skin, but...

What I don’t like about it~

❥ As said before, it does help with removing the appearance of scars and dark spots, but it takes quite a while for that to happen. Perhaps I’m just impatient?

❥ It doesn’t really hydrate my skin.

Repurchase? If I don't find something better, definitely!

Ranking? 4 out of 5 (-1 because Jello knows no patience!)
